All the Money in the World

Teenage John Paul Getty III is kidnapped and held for months as his family try to convince the richest man in the world, his grandfather, to pay a multi-million dollar ransom.

This story based on true events will leave you agape with disbelief, and that's it. The events are real, so are the characters, and that's where it stops. We're left with an oddly inconsequential movie experience. The actors create good likenesses of the people they portray but the characterisations are vapid, lacking the depth to really bring them to life. Something about a camel and the eye of a needle...
