Blade Runner 2049
Sci-Fi Thriller
LAPD officer and blade runner K stumbles upon a long-hidden secret that could threaten the coexistence of androids and humans.
"Blade Runner 2049" more than warrants its reappearance, awash with devastating visuals and AI fuelled paranoia. Such a bleak dystopia has never looked so stunning, immersing you in a multitude of rich landscapes, from densely-populated neon cities, to endless junkyard valleys and radioactive wastelands. While the film might taper in its hunt for exposition at times, the natural progression of the narrative and exploration of the robot psyche continues to thought-provoke and frighten. Futuristic joy.
