Blinded by the Light

During the late 1980s in Luton, the 24th largest city in England, the prospects are overcast for a boy of Pakistani heritage until he discovers the lyrics and music of Bruce Springsteen.

"Blinded by the Light" is vibrant with a spirit and music that wasn't very popular in the era of the story; it's about going against what's expected and accepted and it's uplifting. The rebellion by a teenage boy is respectful while being as determined as any revolution. The high energy rock n' roll soundtrack delivers, with lyrics and music woven into the story to achieve a perfect fit. Dancin' in the dark.
