Four Letters of Love

Isabel and Nicholas are destined to be together, but events threaten to tear them apart.

Adapted from the novel of the same name and set in Galway, "Four Letters of Love" is romantic and sentimental - some will find the action so thickly coated with heart's desires as to be mushy. The rugged coast is a moody contrast to the cosy thatched cottage interiors; there's plenty of atmosphere swilling around the characters, and it's easy to get drawn in or swept up by the possibilities destiny promises. The cast is sincere; each fits their role, and they complement one another, as each character is driven to do what fate has determined. The soundtrack ebbs and swells, doing some heavy lifting to enhance the changing moods. A thick Irish stew.
