"Peppermint" is a brutally enjoyable tale of vengeance. With a cast of characters that excel in their designated roles and action that never quits, the simple premise is executed very well. Our leading lady is an ass-kicking wonder who manages to punch, duck and roll her way through the sometimes ludicrous plot with flawless grace. A few fight scenes toe the line of being overly gruesome, and the unfortunate dodgy lighting and over-zealous editing diminishes the power of some sequences, but overall this is an entertaining and enjoyable romp. Minty fresh.
