Sing Street
Music Comedy Drama
Dublin in the eighties and teenager asks a girl to be in a music video for his band, all he needs to do now is start a band.
Watching "Sing Street" you get the impression that you're watching a talented young man develop the soundtrack to his life. It matters little that he is a fictional character, the movie is so beguiling that it's easy to get swept right into a decade still regarded as musically remarkable. The movie is charming then challenging, poignant, and ultimately triumphant. It's cleverly scored to a feel good beat. There'll be dancing in this street.
