At Spiderhead, pharmaceutical experiments are conducted on prisoners who have opted into the program.

"Spiderhead" has an interesting premise that's been squandered in execution. The creepy antagonist isn't ever allowed to truly showcase the depths of his depravity, and while the plotline contains fascinating themes, they're not explored beyond a surface level which leaves us wanting. The combination of slow pacing and phoned in performances from both leading men leads to a distinct lack of tension, and further highlights the film's unrealised potential. Use your words.
