A man has his prison sentence commuted in exchange for working as a covert operative for the CIA.
"The Gray Man" is an action adventure brimming with violence. The cast all play their roles to perfection, but our calm, stoic leading man is a definite stand out. The plot is studded with fight and chase sequences galore, some of which are hard to follow due to the excessive and quick editing cuts. The use of silence and replacing background noise with music is an interesting stylistic choice that adds ambience to the story and emphasises the unfolding action. We don't chew gum in this house.
