The Roses

When Ivy and Theo meet, the attraction is instant. They go on to enjoy an almost perfect life with a pigeon pair of twins, stellar careers in their respective fields, and a jaw?dropping coastal backdrop to boot.

"The Roses" is a romantic comedy filled with warmth and wit, played out by likeable characters whose relationship begins in overdrive and ends the same way. All credit to the scriptwriters for the captivating, witty dialogue - not that couples really talk like this, but it would be a better, more entertaining world if they did. A little similar verbal zing in our relationships would go a long way to sustaining warm intimacy and honesty unburdened by flattery. A rose is a rose is a rose.
