The Salt Path

After 32 years of marriage, Moth and Raynor lose their house and farm; at the same time, Moth is diagnosed with a fatal degenerative brain disease.

The six hundred and thirty-mile-long South West Coast Path in England is also known as 'The Salt Path'. With no money and nowhere to live, the couple embarks on a wild camping trek along the path. The movie is a rewarding against-the-odds tale, and while the walkers face plenty of hardship along the way, even when wet and bedraggled, they don't dwell on their woes but keep on walking. Trekkers will particularly enjoy the discoveries and encounters the journey brings, and the scenery is captured as a heart-lifting backdrop, every bit as stunning as you might imagine.
