Wild Things
Documentary
This feature-length documentary follows Australian environmental activists for a year as they passionately protest against fossil fuels, the logging of forests, and the inaction of leaders to address climate change.
"Wild Things" demonstrates that Australia's rich history of environmental activism, especially effective in the 80s and 90s, is very much alive and well. We meet 12-year-old children and 80-year-old grandmothers who are joining together in peaceful, non-violent protests to help defend the planet from the potential threats facing its survival. Beautifully filmed to showcase unique areas at risk and featuring interviews with many of the fiercely committed activists on the frontlines, this film is an inspiring and emotional call-to-arms for each of us to contribute to ensuring a sustainable future for our world.
